i like them to,play something country, she,s not the cheating kind are amongst my favourites and of course "maria" boy there's some high notes in there
SO MANY GREAT SOnGS to choose from !
My partic. Faves are their mellower numbers, like ' RED DIRT ROAD, ONLY IN AMERICA, TILL THE RIVERS RUN DRY, COWBOY TOWN ( epic !)'.
But - I'd have to plump for ' THAT'S WHAT'S IT'S ALL ABOUT ' - as the one I play the Mostest !
Also like tHeir quieter songs like BELIEVE, IT'S GETTING BETTER ALL THE TIME, the LONG GOODBYE, MY NEXT BROKEN HEART, and GOD MUST BE BUSY.
yET - strangely - the 1st ever song I heard which helped turn me on to them big-time - was a dance-groove song - SEE JANE DaNCE - which I heard and recorded from one of Bob Harris's Thursday eve show on Radio 2 about 5 years back....!
Didyaknow - there were about 5 EXTRA TRACKS omitted from the UK release of the ' Cowboy Town ' album ?
Luckily - I got sent the music files by a cyber-Country-fiend....
Strangely - 2 of them are amongst the very Best trax on the ' album ' !!!

fancy that, Bob Harris playing dance-groove crap instead of decent country music.
that man is a waste of time.
Gonna have to disagree with you Big Time here Sheriff !
When I said ' dance-groove ' - I was referring to a particular Brooks and Dunn track, as I said.
The fact that it is in this style does NOT, in my opinion, make it any LESS COUNTRY - their track Boot-Scootin' Boogies ' is similar.
Maybe you don't know this/these particular songs ?
OK - I admit to not being a fan of line-dancing - which was almost ' sacriligious ' over at THE ultra-right, conservative BCM - but do tend to like a lot of other dance music.
Personally - BOB HARRIS is responsible for introducing me to SO MANY COUNTRY ACTS !
yOU'VE GIVEN ME AN IDEA FOR ANOTHER THREAD HERE....

Maybe JUDY - BUT still MILES BETTER THAN MANY CONTEMPORARY UPSTARTS !!
There's a great video out at the mo' by NICKELBACK - called ' ROCKSTAR ' - which features many muso's incl. BILLY GIBBONS from ZZ TOP !!!
I've always been a great fan of the Texan TRio - who I'd just LOVE to see making a bona-fide COUNTRY ALBUM !

I was talking about nickleback yesterday how strange, my cousins daughter things they are amazing she played me some of there songs she had on her telephone _________________ Ranch Festival 2009
I will have to say that I really do not like NICKELBACK, BUT I think that the ROCKSTAR video was pure class.
Have to say that with UNCLE TED, KID ROCK AND HOLLY MADISON in it how could it not.
Go on Wikipedia, they have a complete list of who is in the video.
Just to make sure this is on a Country topic, the video also has THE NAKED COWBOY in it.
