just a note to westeners and club / festival organisers that the first ever gun marshal carde is to take place this year. followed by two more dates to be announced for next year at a designated venue ,one in the north one in the south .
the gun marshal carde is a one day course that covers gun etiqute saftey strip and assemble and how to maintain and repair as well as how to correctly marshal events .
there are no places left for this year but i will start taking names for next year ,its free and recognized and backed by the BWA ,UKWF AND LS .
A certificate is given on completion ,the course is being organised by a former police firearms officer and two fomer x servicemen all re-enactors.

yes silver wolfe thats ok to post that on the brit westeners webb site ,ive logged all your names in the book too, the dates will be posted of the next gun marshal cadre on this forum also the shootists and brit country music forum .
one will be held in the south and one in the north and possibly one at the western motor home event at great malvern in the midlands next year which is where the first one is to be held this august .

yes i agree rooster as its central to the UK so i think that there is not a problem with a gun marshal course being run at great malvern again next year which will be in the august .
on another note its vital that we now show the authorities that we take gun saftey and etiqute seriously and can marshal those events properly which require gun marshals who can advize on saftey matters also
to check peoples blank firers are un-loaded befor entering tents marques and buildings .
most of it is common sence and being diplomatic in asking westeners to show there gun is clear of blank ammo .
