Just wondering if any of you guys South of the Border had heard this band and if so what you thought of them.
I personally enjoy going to see them as they always give you a great night.

And when I saw the thread title I thought it could be bout the Wonderful BROOKS AND DUNN !

One of my fave Country acts....and a great album of the same title !

Strange this - I actually had a dream last night that Ronnie and Kix came round to my place - and all I can remember is that they brought cd's plus a lot of bananas......¿

Is that Freudian - I wonder ¿

Also - the Coincidence doesn't stop there !
Opened my e-mail and first thing I found was 2 extra ' missing tracks ' from Brooks and Dunn's last fab cd - ' Cowboy Town ' - sent to me by an old Country message board friend ho posts over there .

How bout that eh ?

I do think that Kix is underated though, if you listen to him on South of Santa Fe and You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone he's got a really emotional voice.

I tend to find his voice not quite up t scratch - he often whines and moans way too much for my liking...

In fact - I often move-on his songs to the next Ronnie one !

Word has it that they don't actually get on very well these days...

Maybe - but I think that ' bROOKS AND dUNN ' CORPORATE IDENTITY IS WAY TOO STRONG - aND PROFITABlE FOR THAT TO EVER HApPEN....

They've been together for a long time now. If you look at their last album they're both writing tracks with other people rather then with each other like they used to do.

Like you say Yora I think only Ronnie will come out of the duo and continue to do albums
